Dr. Nowroozi received her undergraduate degree in biology from University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia. She earned a medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Nowroozi completed an Internal Medicine internship through Georgetown University Medical Center and residency through Georgetown University Medical Center. She was Chief Resident of Internal Medicine at the VA Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Nowroozi is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She has attained certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
Dr. Nowroozi is a member of the American College of Physicians, EVMS Alumni Association, University of Virginia Alumni Association, Norfolk Academy Alumni Association and Tidewater Medical Women’s Association.
Dr. Nowroozi has practiced at Granby Internal Medicine since 2006 and joined TPMG and the opening of Granby Internal and Family Medicine on February 1, 2016.
