Dr. Katharine M. Van Slyke completed her undergraduate degree in Biology from University of Richmond, Richmond, Virginia, and attended Queen Mary and Westfield College in London, England. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she also completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Van Slyke continued her training as a resident at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.
Dr. Van Slyke is board certified as an Osteopathic Internist by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Internists and Virginia Medical Society.
Dr. Van Slyke has resided in the Tidewater area with her husband and children since 2000. She enjoys spending time at the beach, reading, relaxing with her family and actively participating in her children’s sports activities.
Dr. Katharine M. Van Slyke joins TPMG Coastal Internal Medicine and Tidewater Bariatrics in October 2016. She welcomes her existing patients and new patients to her practice.
