Michael McCarthy received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia in 2008 and Master of Physician Assistant from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia in May 2015.
Michael is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants. He volunteers his time to Edmarc Hospice for Children, EVMS Community Care Day and Shaken Baby Syndrome of Virginia. He has served as a mentor and counselor of the Community Services Board in the cities of Charlottesville and Hampton in Virginia for over six years.
TPMG welcomed Michael to TPMG Foot and Ankle in July 2015. He joins Dr. Benjamin Proto and Dr. Matthew Hopson in providing total foot and ankle care to established and new patients in the Newport News, Williamsburg and Gloucester office locations.
