Hoffmier, Thomas J., MD, FACC

Thomas J. Hoffmier, MD earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He went on to complete an internship and residency in medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at St. Luke’s Hospital Center, New York, New York. Previously, he held positions of Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Co-Director of Cardiology for Williamsburg Community Hospital, Williamsburg, Virginia. Dr. Hoffmier is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Hoffmier proudly served in the United States Navy where he was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal with two bronze stars, National Defense Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for service in Korea.

Dr. Hoffmier, of Bon Secours Cardiovascular Specialists, joined Dr. Masood Ahmed and the opening of TPMG Heart and Vascular Center in May 2015.
