Megan Buckley received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from The George Washington University in 1997, and pursued her Master of Science of Physical Therapy in 2000, along with her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2006 at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical College of Virginia.

Megan brings with her to TPMG Physical Therapy numerous years of experience in orthopedics, and helping patients return to an active lifestyle. She is certified through the McKenzie Institute in the McKenzie Method, which is an approach that is also known as Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. Through the McKenzie Method, patients are actively involved and educated in back, neck and extremity problems and the use of spinal rehabilitation to reduce and eliminate back, neck and extremity pain associated with spinal origin. Through active patient treatment, the focus is on prevention in order to reduce the dependency on medical intervention.

As a former gymnast, Megan understands both the benefits and consequences that sports can have on the human body, and whether the effects are favorable or unfavorable is dependent upon the quality of the activity and the way in which it is pursued. She provides an individualized comprehensive plan of care to her patients, as well as education and treatment that is presented in a warm and compassionate style. Megan enjoys spending quality time with her family, and engaging in various fitness activities.

Megan joined TPMG Physical Therapy in Williamsburg New Town Center on September 16, 2013.
