Kanter, Mark J., MD

Mark Kanter, MD completed his undergraduate degree with distinction in Biology and Chemistry at Virginia Military Institute. He earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, and completed a Residency through the University of Kentucky and is Fellowship trained in Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Kanter is board certified by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the Southern Medical Society, Virginia Society of Plastic Surgeons and Medical Society of Virginia.

Dr. Kanter is one of the leading cosmetic surgeons in Hampton, Virginia, and offers patients outpatient surgical operations in a clean and secure environment. He has over two decades of experience, performing over 4,000 procedures.

A native of Norfolk, Virginia, Dr. Kanter is married with five adult children. He enjoys mentoring students and supports local artists. He has a love of the outdoors, including whitewater rafting, canoeing, hiking and bicycling.
