White, Nicholas W., DO

Dr. Nicholas W. White joins Tidewater Family Medicine in September 2016.

Dr. Nicholas W. White attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, where he completed his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Blacksburg, Virginia in 2013. Dr. White completed his residency in family medicine, serving as Associate Administrative Chief Resident at Memorial Health University Medical Center, Savannah, Georgia in 2016.

Dr. White has a strong interest in sports medicine and served as a lead team physician for athletes in various sports at Savannah College of Art and Design. In the past, he has volunteered at several VCOM Sports Medicine Club events, including providing medical coverage at the PGA Tour Greenbrier Classic and conducting high school sports physicals. He was also a member of the VCOM Emergency Medicine Club.

Dr. White’s personal interests include surfing, sailing, golf and fishing. His musical talents include playing numerous instruments such as the guitar, saxophone, piano, clarinet and harmonica, as well as providing vocals for his own band and local country musicians. In his spare time, he enjoys restoring automobiles and boats, which includes a 1968 Boston Whaler, 1974 Ford Bronco and 1982 Cape Dory 25D sailboat.

Dr. White welcomes new patients to reserve an appointment with him. He joins Dr. Lawrence Hyman in September 2016.
