Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma earned his medical degree at University of Nigeria Medical School, Enugu, Nigeria, and completed a Family Medicine residency through Siouxland Medical Education Foundation, Sioux City, Iowa. He received a Master of Science degree in Public Health with concentration in Epidemiology through Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Chukwuma is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Medical Association.
Dr. Chukwuma practiced medicine over several years in Nigeria before moving to the United States. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and personable care to his patients.
Dr. Chukwuma joined the Hospitalist Division at DePaul Medical Center in July 2015, and oversees and coordinates patient care with local primary care physicians and specialists.
