Dr. Maricel Ridella joined TPMG Endocrinology on September 1, 2012. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at Buenos Aires University School of Medicine in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She also completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology in Buenos Aires.

Since coming to the United States, Dr. Ridella also completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, where she was Chief Resident, and an Endocrine fellowship at Scripps Clinic and Scripps Green Hospital in LaJolla, California.

Dr. Ridella is board certified in Endocrinology, Internal Medicine and is Endocrine Certified in Neck Ultrasound (ECNU) by the American College of Clinical Endocrinologists.

In addition to the full spectrum of endocrine and metabolic disorders, Dr. Ridella’s clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders. She performs ultrasound of the neck, as well as thyroid biopsies. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, downhill skiing, reading, yoga and travel.
