Brad Skelding MSW, LCSW, has joined the physicians and staff at TPMG West Point Family Medicine. Mr. Skelding offers one of the newest services provided by Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group, Behavioral Health & Counseling Services.

Mr. Skelding received his Bachelor of Science in Social Work with a Minor in Psychology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 1985. He completed his Master degree in Social Work with a specialty in Mental Health from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1987. He worked as a clinician in direct counseling at Community Mental Health in Farmville, Virginia before receiving his license in Clinical Social Work in 1991.

Mr. Skelding has been in private practice for 21 years providing direct therapy for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, stress management, anger management and other life issues. He looks forward to bringing the newest approach to healthcare, Integrated Behavioral Health, to TPMG and the team approach of aligning counseling services with your primary care physician.
