Luciana D. Bester, MD

Luciana D. Bester, MD was born and raised in the Hampton Roads area and is excited to be practicing medicine in her hometown of Virginia Beach. She received her Bachelor of Science at Old Dominion University and her Doctor of Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She completed her Residency training at VCU/Riverside Family Medicine in Newport News, Virginia.

Dr. Bester is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Virginia Academy of Family Physicians, the Medical Society of Virginia, and the American Medical Association. Her clinical interests include pediatrics (including infant and adolescent care), women’s health, preventive medicine, management of chronic diseases, and family-centered care.

Outside of work, Dr. Bester enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog, going to outdoor festivals, taking photographs, seeing Broadway shows, and baking. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling to tropical locations, historical sites, and Disney World.

Dr. Bester joined TPMG Holland Road Family Medicine in 2017.
